I studied dance and theatre for about 22 years, beginning when I was 3 years old, and did some avid hiking, backpacking, and camping for about 6-7 of those years. I personally never had any "serious" injuries but struggled with low back pain and stomach issues that began at about the age of 13. For so many years, I thought that my pain was just going to be a part of me, for the rest of my life, without any rhyme, reason, or answers from Doctors. By the time I was 30 years old, I finally found a Doctor who was willing to help me begin getting some answers to my pain and it honestly opened my eyes to a whole new world.
I began letting go of any preconceived notions that I grew to believe about myself, that it was my own fault and lack of healthy habits. The idea and concept of self-healing began to blossom like a beautiful flower with so much intention and the more space for curiosity I held towards my self-healing journey the more answers and further I got. This momentum eventually led me to realizing that the moment we accept we are a never-ending story of progress and growth, the quicker we'll find our inner happiness, strength, and healing capabilities that we all hold for ourselves.
This is simply what ignites my passion for Massage Therapy. The pursuit of spreading kindness around the world through the art of massage. I'd love to be able to help people, or even just one person, begin their own self-healing progress to then be able to spread that kindness, bit by bit.
